Art at Baruch Workshop.

I attended the art at baruch workshop this past tuesday and all i can say is what a waste of my time! the lady showed us around the tiny gallery showing us abstract photos in which the artists altered the images to their own perception. The point she was trying to make was that just because they’re photographs does not mean that the image captured is an accurate representation of the object or place photographed. Now obviously anybody with the slightest knowledge of art can understand that an artist creates their own version of something, thus making it art and not just a photograph,I was highly uninterested and did not come out of the workshop with any greater understanding of art just a headache and ancy feeling. If you have not attended this workshop yet, don’t!
