Hi, I have always wanted to donate my blood because I see a lot of people do it and I feel like I’d be helping someone survive. However, the doctor sadly forbids me from donating only because I’m underweight. I believe that should not be the reason to stop me from donating blood. They can extract blood from my veins but not as much as they would from a normal weight or obese person. That way, I would help someone survive and receive satisfaction at the same time.
