Please speak with Wendy Heyman first. She will be leading the workshop and will be the first person to review and approve your proposal.

Do I attend the workshop or have the meeting with Wendy Heyman first? (Thank you for the contact info, btw.)

  3. Dennis says:

An Ad Hoc major is for those who cannot find a major at Baruch which they want. With an Ad Hoc major, you basically create your own major. You will need to attend an Ad Hoc workshop, fill out an application along with a written proposal and it is recommended you meet with an academic advisor. If you plan on pursuing an Ad Hoc, it is strongly recommended you talk to Wendy Heyman (646-312-4681).
The requirements and application process can be found on WSAS website: http://www.baruch.cuny.edu/wsas/student_resources/declare_major_ad_hoc.htm

I was looking into the Weissman School and looking at an AD HOC major. Can you give me some more information on it? How it works? Requirements? If it helps, I’m most interested in the Art Administration major (interdisciplinary major). Thanks!
