I encourage everyone to attend the Club Fair on Thursday September 24 12:30 to 2:30 in the Gym. Join a club, make new friends and expand your network.
Most of the clubs will have officers there to answer your questions. Some clubs will have raffles, food, and games.

I attended the club fair and it was very interesting. There was alot of people and I approached some of the dancing related clubs . The clubfair was good in informing us about clubs but it seemed to be the same as the fair we had the day before we started classes.
I really enjoyed the club fair. There were so many cool clubs. It is so hard to choose. Has anyone joined any interesting clubs??
Oh ok that makes sense, thanks!!
Well, it all depends on you and if you can manage your time efficiently to make time for these clubs. I would advise against joining all 5 at the same time. Maybe one at a time.
Most clubs are for your entire Baruch stay but there is no obligation to stay if you want to leave the club (unless you are a club officer or part of a certain committee).
Well, so far I am leaning towards tae kwan do, hip hop, Bollywood dancing (and MAYBE club India or ballroom dancing)… does it seem like I Might have a lot in my plate? One more question: is this for the whole yr or just for this semester?
Anita, I’m glad you found a couple of clubs that interests you! Which three clubs are they?
Different clubs hold their meetings at different times. Most of them will be on Thursdays 12:30-2:30. Some will have meetings every week, every two weeks, etc… Some meetings are optional, some are mandatory. It really depends on the club you are joining.
I would advise you contact the clubs to ask them about their meetings. After you gather the information, see if you are able to make the meetings. If you are able to attend the meetings, I would say three clubs is fine.
LC 14 -> Feel free to comment!.
What do you think? Is three clubs manageable or too much?
LC 14, I have a few questions. I attended the club fair and there were three clubs so far that I wanted to join. Is that too much? As in will they all be held at the same time? How many do you recommend I take?
