Club Fair

Getting to the club fair workshop was a mission. I looked around knowing that the gymnasium was going to be stuffed with all the new freshmen. As I walked around, I was able to see the different types of clubs Baruch had to offer. It actually surprised me to see so many booths. At first I was looking for clubs that I can potentially join. So i went up to the club U.S.A (United Sikh Association) and club India, since i had friends that already were part of these clubs. It was fun to see what the clubs were actually made of. It was also interesting to see the amount of pride member’s of the club took in their organizations. While walking around, I saw people holding up signs, trying to bring people to their table. Most clubs either had food or candy to give out, which I think was a smart way to attracting new freshmen to their club booth. Even the workshop was annoying to get into and  move around, I still think it was a good experience because it sorta brought the entire school together for me. It made it feel less like boring everyday, going to school and going back home.
