So today I donated blood and it went very smoothly. I answered some yes/no questions like everyone else, the nurse measured my iron level and took my blood pressure and I was pretty much on my way. The two things I hate most about giving blood is waiting for the nurse to stick in the needle and when the needle pierces the skin. After that, everything was ok. While giving blood, you are instructed to squeeze this grip they give you every few seconds. When everything was over, I went to replenish myself with juices, water and an assortment of cookies they provide. This blood drive was well prepared and they were all nice.
