Mediating Conflict

This workshop was taken place on Thursday, November 12th in room 3-190 in the vertical campus building. As the title states, this workshop was mainly about finding solutions to not only academic but also personal problems encoutered in college, especially for us, freshmen who tend have more problems due to the hardships to adapt to a new environment fulfilled with pressure in all academic, economic and social aspects. On the other hand, we also talked about the importance of ethics and honestly in Baruch which is the key to suceess. The speaker of the workshop was one of the many peer mediators in Baruch. She made sure to let us all know that in case of a dispute, whether it is verbal or eventually becomes physical, we should go to her so that she could try to resolve the conflict.
