This workshop was helpful but boring. I learned about the Starr Search website to find different internships and jobs. On the other hand, there were also a lot of information that I already knew about like resumes.

  4. This workshop was very helpful. However, I think it was a little too long and too much audience participation.

I thought that this workshop benefited me because I learned how and where to get an internship. We were informed that there were many types of internships that we could go for and how to use STARR search.

This was a very helpful workshop. They tell you how to search for internships, writing resumes, coverletter, etc. Its a long presentation so go prepared. Don’t go if you are sleepy, it can get kind of boring.

This workshop was very interesting and I did learn a lot. The workshop told us the different types of workshops (paid, unpaid, credit internships, etc.), how to prepare for an internship, and where to look for an internship. I thought it was really good information to know where to look for internships. We should look at the Starr Career Center website and go to Starr Search for a list of internships whose employers are looking for Baruch students. I will be looking there for my internships. Also visiting the Starr Career Center, you can get help with your resume writing and interviewing skills, which can which can help you stand out and get an internship.
