I went to this workshop this Tuesday, and I really think that it was very helpful. Balancing school studies and my social life was a bit stressful for me, but this workshop taught me how to relax and calm down. I really liked what they called Progressive Muscle Relaxation, which is like an exercise that relaxes your muscles and your mind at the same time. Overall, it was awesome! :]

The raisin was there to demonstrate how we can practice what they called “Mindfulness.” By concentrating only on the raisin, the speakers were trying to teach us how to focus on one thing, while calming down ourselves.
Just out of curiosity, what was the raisin for?
I went to this one as well. This workshop was pretty interesting. There were 2 presenters. The first one asked each of us to take a raisin out of a bag. He told us to examine it and eventually he told us to eat it. Then, the second presenter came in and explained to us how to relax our muscles from head to toe. It was called Progressive Muscle Relaxation. The presentation was relaxing.
