Who has not heard of Michael Jackson? Recently with his death on June 25, 2009, the public was upset that he had to go. The king of pop at the age of 50 passed away just a few months ago. Many people cried over his death and the hip-hop artist, The Game, has gathered a few other people to make a tribute song. This song is a mix of hip-hop, r&b, and simply saying words of remembrance as well. Already from being a fan of hip-hop as well as r&b, I think that this song would be sufficient enough to write a review about. The lyrics itself look like they mean something opposed to some of the other hip-hop songs that simply try to get a good beat going. A mix of r&b with hip-hop also makes this song a bit more unique and interesting.

Michael Jackson was one of the legends that made the moon walk and because of this, many hip-hop dancers were inspired to learn this dance as well. Despite what his molestation case in 1993, there was still many supporters of Michael Jackson and stood on his side. After the death of Michael Jackson, there have also been rumors that the boy who accused Michael Jackson admitted that it was a lie and wanted to apologize to Michael. He did not mean to ruin someone’s life, but regardless, history is history and apologizing now will not do much.

With the past events in mind, I think I will be able to write a rather successful critic on the lyrics and the song itself as it serves as a tribute for someone worth remembering. The things he had done, such as the moonwalk, as well as other things all made stepping-stones for other hip-hop artists to follow. One example would be Usher and how he did the moonwalk with Michael Jackson.
