it was very helpful for those who have issues separating social life with personal and professional lives. For me, however, it just clarified everything that i already know and practice. For this workshop, it was just to get the book signed.
I agree with most people that the workshop had information that we already know about. I would just like to add that everyone is different and not everyone can be as talkative or social as others. So although i agree it’s best to make as many friends as possible and to maintain healthy relationships, it’s not as practical as we would all like. I just hope that I will learn through experience and take some (healthy) risks in life. =)
well, I was happy with this workshop because it ended early. It was kind of helpful but at the same time too repetitive. I already knew pretty much everything they were talking about.
I thought this workshop was pretty helpful. From this workshop, I learned about the change in relationships some people may experience from high school to college and how important networking is. We also introduced ourselves to other people and met some new people.
I missed this one! I hope they have another one next week. Sounds like it would help me a lot, especially the romantic part lol jk. Honestly though, my time spending with family/friends is no different than before, if anything I have more time to spend than I had in high school. Life is great right now but this workshop would probably help in the future when college gets harder and finding jobs.
I went to the Managing Relations in College Workshop for Personal Enrichment. I thought it was interesting. We learned of how our relationships with our family and romantic relationships are going through changes as we adjust to college life. We may spend less time with loved ones and we need to learn how to time manage ourselves in order to keep those relations. Also we learned of the importance of networking. Today a large part of getting jobs are through networking, and we should start networking now by talking to our professors, joining clubs, and meeting people outside of our groups. I think that I should start being less shy and networking with others because it’ll benefit me in the long run.
I think that if you dont know how to manage it by know then you should try a whole new method.

I was not able to make it to this workshop but it seems like people found it useful. I should have went =/

I thought this workshop was ok. I felt like they told us everything we already know.

It was a good workshop; not time consuming. We started late and ended early.
