Today on November 4th at 1:30 was the Bearcat the other google workshop. It was really interesting to see the Baruch College search engine Bearcat that was an alternative to google. She showed us how to use the search database using key terms and using and or a plus to find articles that contain both of those words on the title.
It was interesting to see that there Baruch offers this type of search engine and you can find virtually any article, whether it be a newspaper article or a scholarly paper. She also introduced us to refworks where when we find a journal article or any article that we like, we can take the citation from the articles and put it into our personalized database that only we can access and we can have access to Refworks until we graduate.
