On September 30th from 6-8 PM, I went to the Keys to Success workshop. It consisted of guest speakers that included Hamilton Lin, CFA, President & Founder of Wall Street Training, David Kovacs, who works in a family office that has an equity of $50+ Billion, and Elisabetta Bartoloni, Executive Recruiter for Westwood Partners. This workshop was extremely informative since these wall street professionals gave us tips and techniques that students need inorder to be competitive in the job market. Hamilton Lin provided resume tips, interview tips and what not to say during an interview. He provided invaluable networking skills to students and introduced students to wall street training. He gave to the attendees free wall street training courses, and a discounted weekend bootcamp session that will train us from M&A to Advanced Excel techniques without using a mouse. This workshop was extremely beneficial and informative and the speaker Hamilton Lin brought up humor, jokes and Dilbert Cartoons to keep the audience awake.
