NABE-National Association of Business Economics

On October 29th, I attended the NABE workshop on club hours. This workshop is intended to show students at Baruch College the benefits of joining NABE. NABE stands for the National Association of Business Economics and there is going to be a Baruch Chapter that is going to be formed at Baruch College. Membership into NABE helps students receive greatly reduced prices for NABE’s meetings, conventions, skills workshops and career development offerings. Students will have have free access to all of the teleconferences offered by the NABE roundtable, and we have the opportunity to follow economics and network with them. Ben Bernake is a member of Nabe as well. The lecture was given out by professor Jain who is a finance and economics professor. She is apart of NABE and encourages that students at Baruch College join the society for a membership fee of $30 due to its benefits.
