Global Village

On December 8, 2009, after being spammed with advertisements almost every day (AIESEC is good at advertising), I went to the Global Village fair in the Multipurpose room during club hours. When I arrived, there were 16 tables set up, each representing a different country. I was very hungry at the time so the first thing I did was eat. A lot. Along with food, there were representatives at each table who discussed their countries’ cultures and displayed trinkets and items representative of each respective nation. I had a lot of fun learning about the diversity in the world, which is also present in Baruch. A great time was had and the DJ was great. I only wish I could have stayed longer because I spent most of that club hours running around for other things.
