Academic Enrichment Workshop

On October 20th, I attended a workshop with my learning community. There was a counselor at the workshop who explained to us the common core curriculum for Baruch and the pre-requisites for the three schools within Baruch. It was basically a reiteration of the L.U.C.Y. online tutorial. I had watched the tutorial twice, once in June and once before I attended this workshop. It was very helpful, in that it gave me an idea of what I would have to complete in my years at Baruch, and watching the tutorial helped to think of questions that I would be able to ask the counselor. I felt that the counselor did a good job at explaining everything and it was very useful for me. It gave me an idea of what I would have to do to graduate from Baruch, and also what I would have to do to get into the Zicklin School of Business. After the counselor finished explaining everything she looked over our mock schedules and saw whether it was appropriate for the next semester. Now I know what I will be taking next semester, and the workshop was very helpful in helping me choose my classes.
