On September 24th I went to the club fair located in Baruchs auxiliary gym. It was a great way to learn about many of the different clubs at Baruch. Many clubs offered goods to attract freshman and others who wished to join a group. I received candy, cake, and cookies- I was in heaven! There was a large variety of clubs to choose from and it was definitely a difficult choice. I wrote down my e-mail address and signed up for news about upcoming events for many different clubs.
The breakdancing club drew the most attention. With their large speakers and popular music blasting through, the crowd continued to grow. I was a little too short for the crowd and couldn’t see how good they were but I’m sure they were really good because the cheers were almost deafening. Throughout the full two hour break we had, the crowd didn’t let down one bit. It was full of people to the very last minute possible, we all wanted to get the most out of this opportunity.
