On October 13th, I attended the Student Services Fair. There were a number of office representatives and seminar leaders present at the workshop. Our goal at the workshop was to meet and learn about the different services offered by the offices at Baruch. We were also given a card, which would be marked as we met with the various representatives. I got to interact with the representative of the Registrar’s office, the Financial Aid office and the Honor’s Program coordinator just to name a few. There were also free giveaways at the fair, which grabbed everyone’s attention and made it harder to get through the fair.Overall the workshop was a learning experience. I was able to get a better insight on how the different offices functioned and what their requirements were.
