Talking about classes (L.U.C.Y.)

The speaker at this workshop explained what L.U.C.Y. explained via an online video, so it was a re-cap of what the video explained. She handed out another copy of the three tiers and the requirements to apply for the three different degrees and what is required to graduate with those degrees. She went over the core classes that every Baruch student must pass and have credit for in order to graduate. She also went over the classes that needed pre-requisites before being allowed to take them. This information is definitely helpful as I am trying to figure out what kind of schedule I want. The speaker also gave tips on how to manage and create the perfect schedule for oneself, such as actually drawing and mapping out a potential schedule. She also took time to look at the classes we wanted to apply for next semester and sort out what was possible and what was impossible. She also told us that registering for science-related classes may be difficult.

The speaker told one of the students there that she won’t give a signature because we don’t need it…
