On October 1st, I attended the Regional CPA Career Fair. It was interesting to see over 40 Acconting Firms, Clubs and organizations showcasing that day. Most firms seem really professional and the really have an interest in Baruch College. They gave out pamphlets and business cards to prospective students and gave a little information about their firms and what employees do at the firm. I managed to get a few business cards from the event and afterwards I networked with the university relations representative at Roger CPA and she gave me a position as a campus representative. Attending events/job fairs are really beneficial since we would never know who we will meet and the networks we can get from these events.
