1. Managing Relations in College
2. Personal Enrichment
3. Thursday October 8th, 2009; 12:45-2:00
4. This workshop was held to help the freshman’s deal with the problems in relationships that may arise in their life at this time. It’s goals were to help freshmans meet new peers and learn how to manage our time to make space for all our relations.
5. I chose this workshop honestly because I had the time and I needed it to fill my self inrichment workshop. But it turned out to be helpful and it took me out of my comfort zone, because the person their told us to walk around the room and meet 5 new people, which I don’t like to do.
6. This workshop met my requirements because it helped me meet new people and talk about how to fit my relations into the busy life with college and work. I would recommend this workshop to other students because it was very organized unlike the freshman reception.
7. I learned that when I do get a boyfriend, make sure that he goes to Baruch, because otherwise things get complicated. Which I learned from another peer. This didn’t suprise me, I would expect that problems would arise in long distance relationships. From this experience I can take away how to manage my relations and make time for family, friends, and school.
