1) A Reading of “A Doll’s House”

4) The workshop was a condensed reading of the play “A Doll’s House”. It was meant to entertain the audience, as well as show some powerful themes.
5) I had actually read this play my senior year of high school, and wrote a few papers on it. It was interesting to see it performed. It did not take me out of my comfort zone however, as I was familiar with the book.
6) I would recommend these readings to other students. Their pretty interesting, as they are shorter than actual performances. It’s straight forward and allows you to keep interest.
7) I was surprised that I enjoyed the performance to be honest. The play had been pretty dull to read. I discovered that I may enjoy watching plays/readings, something I have never done before.

I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed the performance. Many people are skeptical about the performing arts then find out afterwards that they really enjoy it. I’m a Broadway fanatic so kudos to you!
