1)The title of the Workshop was the Club Fair.
2) The category it falls under is Student Life.
3) 09/24/09 from 12:30pm-2pm
4) The event was focusssed on getting more students to join clubs and give a brief overview of each club.
5) This event was very special for me as well. I had joined MPAG club before and we danced and performed our dance routine at the event. MPAG is a dance club and the performance put me very much out of my comfort zone because my specialty is not hip hop or reggae. I am a ballroom dancer, and having to perform for the first time in hip hop infront of all the students was very scary.
6) After the performance, I went aroud and looked at all the clubs and there presentation. I feel like overall, most clubs put in time and really tried to get make their club seem appealing and inviting. I felt like everybody was very nice and supportuive and although the clubs are competiting for students, they still help eachother out in many different ways. The club fair was definitely a lot of fun and for a school that does not have dorms, the students seemed very involved and connected.
7) I learned from the club fair that this school has a lot of things to offer. Although their are no dorms, there are a lot of ways to make new friends and meet new people. One way is being more involved in the school and joining these amazing clubs. There are many interships and great opportunities to find jobs through the clubs. Overall, I felt like the club fair was a big party with food and performances and I had a great time.
