Photography Gallery

  1. Tour of the Photography Gallery
  2. Arts at Baruch
  3. 10/13/09, 1:00-2:00 pm, Mishkin Center
  4. This tour consisted of several pieces of Baruch Student made/donated Photography. The tour guide helped the touries to understand and take a further look into the various style of photography within one theme, nature.
  5. I enjoyed this tour and selected it because I enjoy the environmant of galleries. Photography is in my comfort zone because I enjoy taking pictures and galleries are in my comfort zone because they provide comfortable and thought-provoking spaces.
  6. My requirements were certainly filled! The only thing I ejoy more than taking pictures is looking at and understanding some. Only in New York can you attend a such great events for FREE!
  7. I knew most of the things that the tour guide went over but I did enjoy seeing some GREAT photographs. By going to this, I’m only more excited to attend something like this again. Maybe I’ll even consider a photography minor!

    1) Gallery Tour: The nature of landscapes and the nature of photography.
    2) Arts at Baruch
    3) October 13, 2009, 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm, Mishkin Center.
    4) The workshop was a tour around the gallery. The goal was to show the students the different styles and creativity of each piece of artwork.
    5) I chose this workshop primarily due to a friend’s suggestion. The tour did not take me outside my comfort zone. What is there to be uncomfortable about when looking at photography?
    6) It met my expectations because we were shown the different styles of photography. I would recommend this workshop to people interested in photography because it allows them to see the different styles there are.
    7) I learned how photography uses different perspective to create photos that can create illusions.
