I agree with Amanda in saying that President Obama is a very effective public speaker. During the elections my economics teacher had required my class to watch the debate between Obama and McCain on t.v. The way he spoke was very effective, because when it came upon issues, he didn’t just state his proposal, instead he told the audience how it would better their lives. His voice was strong and sturdy. It was a voice that demanded attention and received it. All throughout the debate I knew more about Obama’s policies rather than McCain’s, because he was very clear and concise on explaining how his policies would go into affect and improve the lives of fellow Americans. He also utilized history and current conditions of the economy to promote his policies, and argued with his opposing candidate, but in a respectful manner. This debate can be found on youtube.
