Baruch has lived up to my exact expectations. I knew coming into this college it would feel like high school since I am not dorming and living in the same neighborhood with my same friends from Brooklyn. I also knew that I would be in a New York City environment which i enjoy. I think my first semester has went well, I met knew people learned new ideas. Also it has been easy so far. As for what I would do differently, well I believe I wouldn’t change a thing, I’m happy with all my decisions, and I don’t like thinking of regret. I also believe I haven’t changed much in Baruch, since like I said I’m in the same environment as high school which hasn’t yielded to any significant or minor changes.

My name is Joe Mann and i liked being called Joman. My hobby is soccer, Im a very big fan of the arsenal gunners. One thing that i like about myself is that i don’y dislike anything about myself. my favorite band is Emarosa, and I cant wait to go to their concert in a month. Every one who has got to know me can tell that I’m very competitive. Another thing that I’m very interested in is watches. My dream watch is the romain jerome titanic, which is 300,000 dollars and cant tell time. My friends make fun of me because of it, but its the idea behind it which intrigues me to like it. I also love watching Jersey Shore, Pauly D, aKa DJ Pauly D, makes me laugh all the time.

I am Joe Mann, I am confident, and never tentative about decisions I make. When i want something I will run over anything in way to get it. One concern I have, and this is no disrespect to Mi Ji or Alex, I feel as freshmen orientation is a waste of time, and thats just my opinion everyone could disagree. However I feel as though free writes serve no purpose and I’m just writing things that make no sense and have no use what so ever. I thought coming to this school i would see something interesting in my first semester, I thought I would see and learn new things, especially about business, and instead I feel like I’ve learned nothing new so far except for philosophy which is an exceptional class. I feel like its the only class that brings something new to the table and is a class that makes me feel as though Im in college. Freshmen orientation is good for some students but i feel it should be an optional class, the students should be able to pick what they want to learn. I honestly don’t like the block system at all. why are we forced to take classes like sociology where Im learning nothing new, or how about communications, the only thing I heard in that class is making eye contact I know that already!!!
