My experience at Baruch has definitely been an eye-opening one. In my first couple of weeks, I realized that I was not very good at Math, and therefore had to drop the class. As a result, however, I was able to realize what I really want to do for college. Unfortunately, the program into which I want to enter is not offered at Baruch. I did not see this as necessarily a bad thing. The thought of transferring had occurred to me, but I wanted to wait a little while to see if maybe I could find my way at Baruch. I have a few friends here, and I will regret leaving them. However, I realize that transferring is what I have to do, so I applied to a school that offers the program that I am looking for. In my next semester at Baruch, I will be taking a few courses that will go towards my intended major, and I will be spending my free time on keeping my grades up, so that I will be able to transfer. I like Baruch College very much, and I am enjoying my experience here. I hope to keep the connections that I have made as well as continue to make new ones as I work towards my personal goals.
