I didnt expect much when i entered baruch, wasnt really looking forward to anything but an easy degree. But even with these low standards entering the college i feel like baruch has not met any of my expectations. I think it has to do largely because of the freshmen blocks that restrict freshmen from getting any “good” classes. My first semester….. dropped two classes and became a part time student, overall my first semester was like hell. I dont think i couldve done anything differently, i dont blame myself for my performance. I blame the professors that are unclear on what they expect from the student whether it is from the syllabus or test requirements. The only thing i learned from my first semester at baruch is that i have to work my ass off to compensate for poor teaching styles of certain professors that i will not name. Although i think the entire class knows who i am referring to. This post was used to complete an assignment, please disregard anything negative i just said. Thank you and have a nice day.
