Baruch College has not lived up to my expectations. There are many things that I have found completely disturbing to me. However, it could just be that I have not been in Baruch for an enough amount of time. I hope that Baruch College can meet/exceed my expectations because I do want to succeed but I am still in the process of searching. My first semester at Baruch College has been a disaster. Too be honest, I am extremely bored out of my mind in everyone of my classes (except for Freshmen Seminar). If I could, I would not sleep in class. I would try a little more to pay attention in my classes. To be honest, I have not changed much in any particular perspective.

To make up my credit, I went to UCLA which stands for United Chinese Language Association and encountered Nick there. There was a pleasant atmosphere which provided opportunities to meet many interesting Baruch students that are of different status. At the club, there was friendly faces and many cool people. Not only were their food and drinks, but there is games and prizes. But the best is that this is not only for people that are Asians. As I was there, I got interviewed for a open position in event coordinator. The food and people is great, so what else is there to ask for?

Everyone has phobias. Like everyone else, I too have have many phobias but the problem is that I have no idea what they are. I’m just not scared of anything. At one point in my life, I was scared of cars/big fast objects but after I got hit by one of them, I have completely lost my fear of cars. I was in 5th grade and it was summertime. I was running across the street and was completely unaware of the traffic. I got ran over by a truck but I barely got injured. Although I did not get hurt badly, I was sent to the hospital. I have always thought that I was scared of heights but I have done many things that would scare the living hell of people that are acrophobia. I have rode King-da-ka and many amazing rides, look down from one the of the tallest skyscrapers in the world. As of now, the thing that scares me the most is not being scared of anything. I afraid I might do something stupid to people around me or to myself.
