KM 3A

to our freshman seminar class, can you believe how fast it all went by, congrats we finally did it!(haha like were graduating or something! i wish!) but no this first semester did go by really fast! although the days felt long..especially on thursdays and tuesdays when it got to 3.00 everything just sloooooowed down; it all went by pretty quick!

I guess Baruch met my expectations…i wasn’t expecting some crazy fun experience though. Its just been school and a little hanging out, and meeting a few new people. One thing i did expect though, was to be stuck with 20 kids in every class and be bored with them, but instead i got a great set of friends [: …so glad i got you guys…the other freshmen seminar classes are just a bunch of weird kids…haha kidding…kinda. :p

ANYWAYS i think my first semester was a success, i got my work done and actually did meet some pretty cool people. If i could change anything it would have been to apply myself more-i got good enough grades but i know i could have done a lot better with some effort.

As for changing, i dont think i changed much, i think maybe ive become more aware of my spending and have learned some money management. But other than that still pretty much the same.

So yeah, i wish luck to everyone in their next semester, and thanks to Veronica and Nick for helping us through this first one-we got it from here guys! [:

ps. one thing i did love about this first semester was getting to explore the city during our giant three hour breaks-ive seen some of the best parts of the city, that i had never taken the chance to explore. I mean what would me and Nadine have done with out the Forever 21 at union square or Big Daddy’s for the best milkshakes! :p

For my monologue i chose to tell my most embarrassing story!

so i wanted to let you guys know that, i have no hand eye coordination. cant catch a ball. cant hit a ball. nothing!

i still like sports and attempt them.

so last winter me and a couple of friends went upstate to ski and snowboard.

now the only other time i had ever been skiing, which probably doesn’t even count, was in ninth grade. and when i went me and my best friend couldn’t find the bunny slope…so instead  we took the ski lift all the way up to this huge advanced mountain. needless to say…we walked down that mountain…

so this time we came back determined to conquer the sport. we spent 30 minutes on the bunny slope…[finally found it after two years…literally!] and then decided we were pros and could take on the big mountain.

so we get on the lifts and while were on them…[its a long ride up!] we decide to take pictures! as im putting my camera back in my bag…my ski poles FALL!

now for a beginner [even an expert like myself :p] skiing without your poles is impossible and a failure in the making. so when we got to the top of the mountain we had to wait 20 minutes for the snow-patrol to get my poles -__-

but finally we got them and made our way down the mountain [only falling once or twice…or ten times…], poles and everything!

right as im getting to the bottom of the mountain i see my best friend fall…but i figure she can get up…besides i really wanted to be the first one done! but as im going down im gaining so much speed and i cant control it…so it comes down to running into a rack of skis, running into a glass door, or falling.

i fell -_-

but this fall was nothing but graceful…a big ball of snow  and skis kinda grace.

embarrassed i look a round to make sure no one we came with saw it…so i could put it behind it and never mention it…ever.

i look once, no one. yes!

i look around twice…and see my friend KC on the floor almost crying…and i see my best friend skiing and LAUGHING down the mountain.

…i hope neither of them remember this. 0.0

i guess i’m just a fun loving person.

haha, i love laughing and i love people with a sense of humor, i like people who understand my sense of humor. i like hanging out and doing nothing. i like to read. music is my life. i love any type, anything that can captivate my mood or just make me want to sing haha. i like to meet new people. i love…long walks on the beach, and sunsets-haha just to finish off this match.com ad :p

i dont know-im always kidding around-i like to to think im funny hilarious :p [okay ill stop now]

ANYWAYS.

top three concerns…would be not doing well, im really hoping to get really good grades, i want to be able to focus and learn this year.

im also afraid of not making friends! :O!

its a huge school, and running into people more than once is so unlikely! so it might get hard! but i think im doing okay. haha

also! im so scared of being so broke! just by the time freshman year is over! haha i need to learn how to manage my money more wisely…maybe i should have paid better attention at that presentation on convocation day, haha

the biggest difference between high school and college, and the class size! all my classes have like 100 kids! i like it though.

this school is so big!

i think, this year, ill really become a lot more independent, i feel like ive had my parents hold my hand through everything and now im doing everything on my own…well almost everything! i think this will help me mature, and become a better person.

pps. also! this is really random but did you guys see that guy dressed in that ostrich outfit outside of school today!? haha did you guys get a picture with him…oh hah me either…0.0
