I think that I’ am a shy person at first but once you get to know me I’m pretty easy to get along with. My top 3 concerns for freshman year are time management skills since I will be commuting for the first year or so. I’m also concerned on whether or not I should join a fraternity or if I should do clubs. My first exams are something I’m concerned about due to a lack of knowledge of the curriculum that may be given out since its no longer high school and more is expected from the students. Getting involved in social activities such as networking fairs and attending seminars is definitely a change from high school. Working towards your first internship in a career you enjoy can be a quite rewarding experience. My first year at Baruch will change me in terms of how I’ am socially. For example, I can sign up for STARR on the online website and I will soon be able to receive any information regarding job or networking fairs. This way one can augment social skills, and communication skills by joining clubs and getting to know new people that share the same interests as you.
