1st Required Blog Post

I have never really sat down and thought about answering a question like who I think I am. However, if I were to thoroughly answer this question I would get multiple answers. I think of myself in definition to the roles that I play in my life. Some roles that I play are a brother, son, friend, Muslim, etc. I think these are the things that define me and help become the responsible and humorous person that I am.  I am a person who looks at every thing in life as a blessing and treats it with a smile. I am not afraid to go say hello if it means I can meet someone new. I never show people attitude and nor do I believe in stereotypes or biases. Moving on, my top 3 concerns about freshmen year are adjusting to college life, exceeding in my professors’ expectations and passing all my classes with grades which I can be proud of. Other than that, I am pretty comfortable with everything that has to do with college. It sometimes feels like high school all over again but there are definitely some changes. In college, time management is a major thing which i s something that I am still getting used. Whereas in high school, procrastinating was acceptable and I was able to get things done on time. I think I can still make ends meet with the same method but I’d rather start my college career with good habits. Lastly, I don’t really know how my freshmen year at college would change me but I can tell you that so far the only thing it has done is made me feel grown up and a little more responsible.
