Career Exploration Workshop

The Career Exploration Enrichment Workshop we attended on 10/28 was extremely informative. I found it very insightful in that I was never aware that Baruch offered so many resources that could help develop my resume, interviewing etiquette, and internship searching. The DOs and DON’Ts of what to put on an effective resume really helped me know what to add to and remove from my resume such as avoiding the use of personal pronouns (I, my, etc).

The workshop also helped me to see what employers are looking for in a good employee. Because I have never been in an actual professional interview, I plan to take full advantage of the mock interview and STARR services in the near future to further my learning and advancements.
