Now that my first semester at Baruch college as a freshmen is almost over, I had a great experience. Baruch College has many things to offer to their students. From Greek life, honor societies, SACC, STARR and many more other things for me to explore has to offer. They have helped me develop skills that I need for future references. These organizations offer help for students that are in need. I think that Baruch College really exceeded my expectations because I wasn’t really prepared for the amount of work they offered.
I thought that my first semester could have went better. I still kind of had that “senioritis” in me which caused me to slack a bit in my classes. But other than that, I think I’m doing pretty well in my classes.
If I could do something differently, it would be my school work and chose different classes. Such as art. I never really liked art and for me to spend hours and hours each day just to finish and catch up the pace the professor wanted was just unbearable for me. But other than that, I think i wouldn’t have done anything different. I got to know all my LC mates and some of them are really down to earth people and I enjoy just spending time with them.
The one thing I noticed that I changed and my old friends noticed was that, I was very open to new experiences. I became a more open person who was willing to try new things.
