Career Workshop Reflection

Last week for Freshman Seminar, we experienced a career workshop.  I thought this session was quite interesting and helpful because I learned many useful tips that I could use for future events such as internships and job interviews.  I thought that even tips as simple as describing what clothes not to wear, and what is appropriate is important because these factors play a large factor when someone is hiring.  In addition, I thought the information given about what to put on a resume is helpful, and what details to include.  A positive attitude is also necessary to show how interested you are in getting the position.  These are the types of workshops I actually find helpful, and would like to be apart of more because in the near future I plan on joining an internship.
