Monologue

Picture this.

It was the first day of classes and I was already 15 minutes late to my first class, freshman seminar, because i got lost trying to find the FRO room. Upon coming into the hall with my friend, I glanced at my phone where I wrote down the room number and saw 3190. So i entered. And walking halfway to an empty seat, I realized I wasn’t in the right room so i left. I checked my phone again and the right room was 3195. That was my first embarrassing college experience…and my most embarrassing from the past few months. So far, college has been pretty much what I’ve expected, with the exception of a few things. The workload from school isn’t too bad (besides the hefty assignments from art), but slacking off and falling behind becomes so easy because of the pressures to keep up with other aspects of my life, like work, family& friends, and other personal responsibilities.
