Now that my first semester at Baruch is less than a week away from being over i can reflect on the past 4 months or so. When i went into Baruch i really didn’t expect to make any friends. My friend had told me that people usually don’t talk much and focus more on there work. Thankfully i had a great LC to spend my semester with. One expectation that was true about Baruch was the work. I expected the work load at Baruch to be a lot, and i was right about this.
I think my first semester at Baruch went pretty well. My grades were pretty good, not nearly as good as i’d like though. But i know if i spend more time next semester studying i can improve my grades and do much better.
One think i would do differently during my first semester is definitely put more time into my work. Sometimes i would get lazy and half-ass a project or not study as much as i need to, and i regret this.
I have definitely changed during my first semester at Baruch. I feel i’ve become a lot more mature, and i developed a much better work ethic, even if it might not be as good as i’d like it do be.
