I love all of the posts so far guys!! I got to see so many personalities that I don’t usually get to see in class!!! I had a good laugh at some…..all were very entertaining. Thanks for allowing me to see more of you. Maybe I should do one so you could see more of me. As if you don’t see enough in class. lol.. See you guys soon and have a great weekend to all of you!
1. im an 18 year old college freshman. Ive lived in queens my whole life and just recently moved to staten island. I come from an Albanian household, which means my parents are very traditional. I love summers because I always go and spend a month or two in Montenegro.
2. My top three concerns about freshman year are how to handle each class. No one I know had my teachers so they cant give me any advice on how the teacher grades and what to do to get a good average. I have a problem getting to school on time. To make class at 930 I have to leave my house at 7 which is annoying. I was used to senior year just waking up getting in the car and making it to school in five minutes, now I have to rely on busses and trains. My attendance is also a problem. Last year if the weather was bad or I was just to lazy to get out of bed I wouldn’t go to school.
3. So far Baruch has been different for the fact that teachers don’t remind you when things are due. If you show up to class that’s good but if you don’t, it doesn’t really matter to them. The class still goes on whether or not your there. Its all up to you.
4. I think my first year of college will make me more responsible. No one is there to constantly remind me to do things.
