I thoroughly disliked my visit to the Rubin Museum. Don’t get me wrong; I appreciate the richness of the museum’s collection, but the museum’s presentation of their Himalayan artifacts was not engaging at all. The point of the mandatory visit is to get us to appreciate other cultures or something like that and I feel this trip did not do that for me at all. Not even a little bit. Sorry but I’m just not interested in Himalayan art.
