My Baruch experience was okay; not bad and not really any “wow.” My first semester could have went better if I didn’t keep going to philosphy late and sleeping in my classes….If I could restart my first semester, I would pay attention in class. Last but not least, I do’t feel I have changed.

Career Exploration

The Career Exploration workshop was very helpful. The fact that so many helpful tips for developing a career were given was nice. Now, I know how to write a resume, get ready for an interview, and how to use Starr search. I felt that the workshop was a very helpful one.

Rubin Museum of Art

When I went to the Rubin Museum of Art, it was annoying because going there took long. When I went, I thought it would be terrible because I hate museums. When I actually went, it was a bit better than I expected…

My name is Daniel Min. I am 18 years old, and I live in Queens, New York. I am a Korean-American. My hobbies are computer games, and I would like to start playing handball again.

College seems like a new experience to me. There are more responsibilities to take on. My main weakness is my shyness and that I am slow at adapting to change. One of my strengths, however, is my perseverence. If I have to do something I wish to accomplish, I will do it no matter what. My goals are to overcome my weaknesses and become successful in life.

A.  I am Korean-American, and also have a relaxed personality. I am 18 years old, and live in Queens, NY. I like to play and have fun.

B. My top 3 concerns in college are the amount of reading I should do, transportation to school, and my major. There are lots to read; transportation to school is more than 1 hour, and picking majors is pretty much a big gamble on starting your life.

C. The thing about college is that the world acknowledges you as an individual with responsibilities. Unlike high school, college gives more freedom by letting us choose our own classes. Also, there is more independent studying to be done. College is preparing for life in the world, while high school was for preparing someone to learn of the fundamentals.

D. I believe I will become more independent and apt in whatever I do, and in getting ready for my future.
