Last Friday we had an Academic Advisement Seminar. It was interesting and extremely helpful, because before going there I still had not been sure about how to deal with my schedule for the next semester. Now I am pretty confident about the process of choosing classes. I think that this is great when you have a choice what to study and when (with some exclusions). It is given to American students as granted. But in many countries, including Russia, when you get into a college, you do not have choice. I just have to stick to the schedule given to you by others for 3-4-5 years. So, once again, I thought about very comfortable conditions for students in the USA, which even cannot be imaginable to many students abroad.
