The Rubin Museum exceeded my expectations a bit but it wasn’t particularly interesting. I didn’t really relate at all to any of the art and I didn’t really see the point of going to the museum, but I did like the museum experience itself. I liked how it was small which is a different feel from the Metropolitan which is huge and grand in every aspect. This museum allows you to get close to the art and really take a good look at it. It helped gain a little more appreciation for the art even though I didn’t connect with it much. One piece I enjoyed though was the temple. I thought it was really interesting and the way it was set up showed meticulous detail which I found really impressive. Other then the temple, I didn’t really see the museum as an edifying experience.
