I am the Same Person Inside and Out
October 17, 2010 by zachary.triano
I see myself as the same person I was than before I presented our monologues. I am not afraid of public speaking and actually have more confidence in it than one-to-one speaking because I have a script of things to say. The monologues gave me more confidence with one-to-one speaking with those in LC13 since now we all know more about each other. Freshman seminar is also giving me more confidence to talk to others one-on-one because of our mini-conversations at the end of every class.

I’m so happy that you’re able to do more one-on-one conversations with your peers! :)
I also feel like the same person post monologue. However, unlike you i hate public speaking. Even though there is a script in front of me, and all i have to do is read it i get nervous anyway. I really liked your monologue though. You sounded so confident in yourself. I wish i had that kind of confidence. For me I think one on one speaking is somewhat easier. I am nor sure why. Maybe its because if i say something stupid, then only one person heard it. Either way i still get nervous. By the way i love the picture you chose to post. I think it gives a great depiction of the confidence you have.
