Mid-November
I think my first semester went pretty well, all things went pretty smoothly. I was worried at first a the size of Baruch, my high school had 500 people in total, and Baruch is so much larger. I actually know another freshman at Baruch from my high school, and I haven’t seen him since we’ve been here. With the LC experience, things felt a lot smaller and easier to adjust to college life. I think I adjusted to Baruch well, I got used to college life pretty quickly. I would say if I could do it all over again, I would have worked more efficiently, I wasted a lot of my study time, and looking back I should have worked harder to not be distracted by the things surrounding me. I think if I was a little more studious, I would be doing better in my classes now. I think I’m doing pretty well now, but next semester I will take what I learned and hopefully be even better. I think since I got here I grew up a little, but other than that, I think I am still the same person. Now, I appreciate my free time and I’m starting to use it more effectively, and I will change that over my next 3 and 1/2 years at Baruch.
