Mid November Blog

My first semester went fairly well. I didn’t do as well as I would have liked to in some of my classes, but I learned from my mistakes. I definitely need to focus more on my school work. With school, work, and homework, I’ve become quite busy. I rarely find time for myself. I feel like there is always something to do. For the first time in a long time, I actually have to tell people when I’m free to hang out, rather than just pick any day. I’m looking forward to the next semester. I registered for classes pretty early. I’m glad I wasn’t the only one because I would’ve been pretty confused about picking classes. I got it all done though, with only a few minor problems along the way. Next semester, I plan on focusing on my school work more. I hope to learn more through the college experience, but feel like I have learned a lot already. I learned that it can be really easy to slack off, but that it can also be fairly easy to do well when I do my homework and pay attention in class. Simple things like this can mean the difference between a C and an A. I hope I can get myself to focus more in all my classes. I’m looking forward to next semester and hope I get to meet new people, but stay close with the LC at the same time. The LC definitely made it easier to ease into college life. Baruch is a lot bigger than my high school, but the LC provides for a much friendlier and more social environment. I’m glad I chose an LC for my first semester, and can’t believe that choice was made so long ago. Looking forward to next semester!
