The last time I looked at my resume was about a year ago. Although, the rules to writing a resume hasn’t changed since then, I realized getting help from the internet isn’t always the best option.
A few things I learned from the workshop:
- Resumes should be one page long
- Knowing how to fold t-shirts isn’t really an accomplishment
- Be very specific about experiences but maintain brevity
- You don’t have to win a medal or some fancy certificates to prolong your Accomplishment category
- Restrain from fibbing
I think it’s time to update my resume – or not.
