College hasn’t really lived up to my expectations because I didn’t come into college expecting anything. I just came because everyone is expected to college if they want the best chance at earning money. I guess I was expecting it to be like high school except with more time on our hands.
My first semester could have been better. I think I should have taken more time to study the material before the quizzes and exams. I usually get so used to the free time that when the project or exams come up I procrastinate last minute and don’t get as much done as I would like. The classes were okay. English with Watson is great. Calculus is my least favorite class for many reasons, mostly because the professor doesn’t explain why we have to do certain steps (she tells you that answer is this but not why you get it). Communications with Weitz is okay because he’s kind of interesting even though the class is not. Political Science is long and tedious. Anthropology is okay but I really don’t see the point of that class.
If I could redo the semester I would study more instead of waiting until hours before the test/quizzes.
I don’t think I have changed much since college started.
