The presentation regarding resumes and interviews was very helpful. They went through what you should have in a resume, or what you should do in an interview step by step. I don’t remember what they, which was fortunate that they gave us handouts basically reinforcing what they were saying. So I can look at what they gave us if I ever need any help. And also I learned what SCDC can help me with and I can go to them if I ever need any job related help and more.

The panel was pretty interesting when Charles N. Le spoke. I finally had a voice to put behind what I read before. Then there was this one woman, who I was pretty sure talked during the freshman orientation and said the same exact thing, so that was a bit boring. Really the only part I liked about it was getting to hear Li speak.

Hello my name is Anthony Theodorou. I actually have five names, something you may not know about me, Neophytos Anthony Raymond Francis Theodorou. I’m a very relaxed guy who’s calm most of the time. I like to just go with the flow.

Some things about me, I like to play mostly every sport. Except for basketball. But my favorite sports are fencing and handball. I used to fence on my high school’s team and I just like to play handball whenever I can. My favorite subject in school used to be math, but that may be changing from how things are going so far. My sociology class is still terrible. I have no idea what’s going on and there’s so much to read that I don’t understand.

Overall college isn’t that much different from hs. I still just travel in with the train then leave when my classes are done. There’s no dorm life to get used to so everything’s going fine. And what I like most about Baruch is that it’s in the city. There so much to do around here it’s amazing.

a) That’s a hard question, cause I never really think about it. I guess I can say I’m an extremely laid back guy who’s generally shy at first until you get to know me. I’m a nice person who’s accommodating to everybody.

b) I would say my top three concerns would be the writing, time management and not having a third concern, which concerns me. I don’t really like writing and there’s always essays to write so that concerns me. I also have terrible time management skills. I tend to procrastinate till the last day and that’s a bad habit. And I’m not really concerned about anything else. I should be concerned about something else, but I guess I don’t really care that much. So maybe my third concern can be that I might not put that much effort into my work when I should.

c) I feel that there’s a lot less pressure from teachers and stuff, so that’s nice, but sorta not good. Cause you have to make yourself do the work now instead of constantly being reminded by the teacher.

d) My first year of college will probably change my time management skills. I’ll learn to organize my workload a lot bette instead of waiting till the last day to do everything, pretty like this blog.
