first bloggg

Hi my name is Lila Kwong,

I came to Baruch for a new experience.
but what I got was nothing different then high school…
very disappointing… I went to Fort Hamilton High School, so there
were people from all racial back grounds, shape and sizes.
There were also people at every corner. Therefore nothing has really changed.
Well except for the that the people in school have multiplied. -_-”
To the point where during gaps I have to stand! That I have to hunt for
a seat.
I thought Baruch would be awesome but… I don’t really like this place.
Oh and the library isn’t as good as it seems to be I found more interesting books at my high school library. -_-”

I love to swim & make origami (creating things out of paper)
and the gaps are so weird that there will be no way I can go to the pool and swim, or start and finish a origami project.

My experience so far at Baruch is making me want to go back to high school.
I hope my thoughts will change after this semester or I am so going to transfer.

on a different note;
I am Chinese-Cantonese; don’t know the difference? Well the Chinese part you probably get but not why I indicated the Cantonese part; well there are many different “Chinese” and that is because of the many parts of China. Each part has a different dialect and my parents are from Canton, there for I speck Cantonese.
I wish I can demonstrate the main difference; but that would require me to speak to you & I can’t do that through a blog…
I am born and raised here in New York. I speck fluent Cantonese, Mandarin and of course English. Being a teenager, growing up in New York, I am a complainer.
Many would people growing up here might like it here but I don’t. New York would be the last place I would want to raise a family at. There is too much crime and it is much to easy to get in to trouble.
