Blog #3

This is my third blog… and i really “APPRECIATE” whom made this BLOG…

anyway LOL baruch… I didn’t expect this much of work in college like any college, but this is too much of work…. tons of work everyday… thank god i am done with midterms… now it’s final… I really don’t think college to be this hard, but I’m giving my best shots every single day.

Also in first semester, I didn’t know what to do for every class. People just say study yourself, that’s what every college wants you to do and read textbooks, that’s what every prof wants you to do. Even though I read textbooks, I don’t fully understand, since I wasn’t born here and studied English for long time. I really messed up every class, but for next semester, I have confidence that I could do much better than this time. If I could go back to time, I’m really sure that I could succeed for every class. It’s so different from high school… I miss high school =(

I changed myself A LOT… First of all I’m very lack of sleep every day unlike when I was in high school… Second of all I care about my grade now… I didn’t give any attention to school when I was in high school… But in college… I guess environment  makes who I am. But I’m pretty satisfy with my college life and I’m going to do better for next time for sure =)

Since it’s last blog I would say bye to all of you

Bye everyone and Good luck in Baruch

Blog #2

Hi my name is Mun Kug Joo

i know it’s late to post up blog #2 but i am still doing it, because I have to pass this class 🙁

I am freshmen in Baruch College, and I graduated from Benjamin N. Cardozo High School, which is located in Bayside, Queens. I played lacrosse in school, which made my life changed into athlete. I love to play any sports. Also English is my second language, which makes me little hard to study in America. But I’m appreciating that I have came to United States. I feel very proud of myself when I could help someone with anything that I could handle, such as helping people who just came to United States with English.

Also I love to sleep these days, because I couldn’t sleep these days, spending time on studying. I really didn’t know college is this hard. But I’m giving my best shots, actually not… but still… I will try my best later on. LOL

I came from South Korea, Not NORTH KOREA!! I came to United States about 6 years ago. I thought United States was really good place, just like hollywood movies, like long islands view. But as soon as I got off from plane in JFK, I saw all the garbages around airport and it was just disgusting. But I’m getting use to New York LOL It’s my second hometown. I love New York now. 🙂

Blog #1.

Who am i?

I am freshman in Baruch College and i graduated from Benjamin N. Cardozo High School, which is located in Queens. I think I’m very typical asian student. I don’t really talk and participate, you could say shy. But I’m trying to change my personality to outgoing. I really do procrastinate all the works till last. Therefore I have hard time with all the works, but I will try to finish my works earlier this time. Except this blog thing…. And I love to play sports especially team-sports. I would like to join lacrosse team in baruch if there is one. Also I really don’t like to be compared with others, so I like to be different from others.

I think college is different from high school especially works. The amount of works is really a lot compared with high school’s works. Also how professors teach is really different from high school. In my high school, all teachers give notes for everything, but in college, I have to read all the textbooks and memorize the textbooks, which i really hate. But I will learn the way of studying and surviving in college in freshman year.

As I said before, I think my first year of baruch college will change a lot. But I will try to change my personality first and change rest of things that I need to change to fit in college life.
